Key Verse: “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.  For you will be treated as you treat others.  The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?" -  Matthew 7:1-3

  • Zack talked about joining in with his friend in making fun of other people.  How much of an issue is that at your school?  Who do they target at your school?

  • Why do so many Christians get involved with talking down to other students?

  • Zack talked about how a young boy on one of his teams talked a big game, and it really bothered him.  Is there someone in your life who just drives you nuts because of what they say?  What is your initial reaction to this person?

  • Read Matthew 7:1-3.  What do these verses teach you about judging others?

  • Zack was picking on this younger teammate and wanting him to respond.  Finally the boy did and Zack felt ashamed.  How would you have handled that situation?

  • What causes Christian athletes to respond like Zack did toward a teammate?  How should we respond as believers?

  • Pray that God will help you be respectful and the kind of teammate others will want to follow.
