Matthew 7:7--"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
Their comes a point in life where nothing just seems to go right. We get bad grades, we have to deal with injuries while we play a sport, we're not fitting in with the right crowd, or something just as simple like "I don't belong here." Trust me. I've been through my fair shares of these plenty of times. But no matter how dull life may seem, or how unlikely your luck is to turn around, you can't lose your Faith. Even when you think that everything seems impossible, it's not. Luke 1:37 states that NOTHING is impossible with God. More people need to believe this saying, because with all of the difficulties we face in the world everyday, I don't see how any of us could get through life without Christ.
The other day I had seen a kid, and he looked really down on himself. I went up and asked him what was wrong, and I could tell in his eyes that he wasn't happy, at all. I knew what to do right away. Christ had sent me a sign to pray for this kid, and pray that he may find patience in his life and that no matter how dull the situation may seem, that Christ was always with him. Matthew 7:7 states that if we ask for something from Christ, then it will be given. We just have to "knock" or seek His face. If you really think about it, we can relate this verse to many encounters in our lives. For one, with all of the stress of everyday life we face, we sometimes lose sight of Christ. This is very easy to do, because I myself have done this once or twice before. But if we do this, then our lives become even more stressful. Christ is our source of strength to any problem that we have.
Another thing that we sometimes don't do, is "wait" for the Lord. We don't wait for the Lord to fulfill our needs. We sometimes just expect for Him to fulfill our needs then and there. No, Psalm 27:14 states that we must "wait" on the Lord. If we wait, then our asking and seeking of betterness will be relieved. I must say that I have had an experience or two with being impatient. I just let Christ take me with the path that He instructed me with, and I've been smooth sailing ever since. Stories like that are happening all the time, it's just a matter of seeing these stories at work. Anthony Robles from Arizona State, one legged Division 1 National Championship wrestler. He's waited his whole life to become a National Champion, and this year he achieved this. To God be the glory, he never stopped working, and Christ has led him to wear he is today; a National Champion, and one of the greatest feel good stories that we've had in recent years.
Ask, Seek, Knock. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you find; knock and the door will be opened to you. I pray that all of you that read this just take some time to seek Christ, and all of the miracles that He is installing right in front of us, we just never see it.
1. How do you "seek" Christ on a daily basis?
2. What are some of the signs that you see from Christ?
3. How much do you seek Christ on a daily basis?

Matthew 7:7
"Lord, lift up our hearts to not only seek Your face for ourselves, but also to seek what You do in front of our eyes every day. Let us seek You, and not to lose sight of you ever, Lord. Amen."
