Summary
Jake and Amy go to the youth group meeting, and Amy immediately feels judged, first by Andrea, then the senior pastor and his son, and finally by other girls in the group. Amy decides to leave, and Jake chooses to stay and scolds the group for being judgmental.

Every week, it seems like a new moral or ethical shortcoming tarnishes the reputation of yet another sports superstar. There's no need to name names or the charges. Enough ink has already been used reporting the allegations.

For better or worse, sports today provide one of the most visible platforms for modeling behavior. Yet, not everyone who stands on the pedestal wants the responsibility that comes with it. Some athletes even recoil at the idea of being a role model.

Still, there are others who give us hope. Men like University of Florida senior quarterback Tim Tebow, who welcomes and embraces the opportunity to make a positive impact.

For small group

At least one person who can do push-ups (10 or 20 for each group member, depending on size of group).

Reward for each group member (hamburgers, food, candy, snacks)

In a small group of 5-7 people, ask for volunteers who can do 10 push-ups.

Then, ask those volunteers who can do 10 or 20 push-ups times the number of people in the group (70 total for example).

Out of those volunteers, ask the group to pick one person to do the total number of push-ups (Student A).

Have everyone form a circle and bring student A into the middle. Then show the rewards to everyone and explain the challenge below.

One player is the “hunter” and the others are “birds.”  The hunter throws a ball at the birds, who may run freely about within the boundaries determined by the players before the start of the game.  When the birds are hit with the ball, they become dogs and help the hunter by recovering and throwing the ball to the hunter.  The hunter is the only one that may hit the birds.  The last bird to be hit becomes the hunter for the next game.  HI
